There's Still Time On The Clock.

I don't see what's the rush, at this juncture, to fling my arms open and embrace McCain. The Democrats won't even know who their nominee is until after June. I'm not going to run to his side this early, just to see him throw us under the bus in favor of cozying up to moderates and Democrats.

This group is formulating a letter to McCain expressing our views and expectations. I also urge individual members to write McCain and the RNC similar to what Lisa did. All I'm saying is that there is still time to play a little hardball.

McCain has to earn our support with more than just an acceptance speech or a letter from his desk. If we lay down so easy and so early, he won't respect us in the morning.
