Note Ethics & Reform in Illinois: An Update

As part of its long-standing commitment to civic leadership and community affairs, the Public Affairs Committee of the Union League Club of Chicago is proud to host a current affairs forum: "Breakfast@65West."

Held at the Union League Club of Chicago, this series of breakfast meetings features opinion leaders and policy experts from around Chicago and around the country addressing a broad range of issues in a lively format.

Breakfast@65West events begin with a buffet breakfast at 7:30 a.m., followed by the program at 8:00 and adjournment no later than 9:30. The cost is $20 per person, which is payable at the door by cash, credit card, or check made out to "Union League Club of Chicago."

To provide their candid thoughts on ethics and campaign finance reform initiatives in Illinois government and to answer your questions, we will hear from three of our state's most prominent leaders in the fight for reform:

Patrick Collins, appointed by Governor Quinn to chair the Illinois Reform Commission

Andy Shaw, former WLS-TV political reporter, now executive director of the Better Government Association

John Tillman, chairman and CEO of the Illinois Policy Institute, a non-partisan research organization dedicated to free enterprise and government accountability
